The 1 cm thickness is suitable for disciplines that do not involve falls. It is suitable for classic floor work (warming up, yoga, stretching, muscle strengthening, etc.). If your practice involves frequent falls, such as in judo, you should then choose thicker tatami mats (4 cm).

The borders are easily removable and the edges of the tatami are serrated to allow easy nesting and prevent slipping. It also makes installation quick and easy, and it's just as easy to remove them to free up space if needed.
